CARB Disclosure

Back To Homepage

CSG Verification, LLC (the Company or CSG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carbon Solutions Group LLC, formed to provide third party greenhouse gas (GHG) verification services within the California Cap-and-Trade (Compliance Offset) Program. This is the only program we intend to provide verification services under, and it is structured as a separate practice from Carbon Solutions Group, LLC’s other business operations.

Our application with California Air Resources Board (CARB) to become an accredited Verification Body for Offset Projects is ongoing, and this page will be updated accordingly throughout the registration process.

CSG has a dedicated team of experienced accredited lead verifiers who will be able to meet your verification needs within the Livestock, Mine Methane Capture (MMC), and Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) project types. Our lead verifiers have been registered with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Offset Program since 2015. They have completed well over 50 verification assignments across all three project types, and have developed strong and collaborative relationships with many Offset Project Operators and Authorized Project Designees.

Complaints and Appeals

CSG has developed Complaints and Appeals Procedures for the GHG verification services we will provide.

Complaints

Clients/complainants are encouraged to submit the complaint through the Director, Risk and Compliance (complaints@carbonsolutionsgroup.com) with the following information:

  • Client/complainant name and contact information.
  • The nature and summary of the complaint.
  • A suggested resolution to the complaint, if applicable.

The Director is independent of the verification project technical work and verification team and will review the complaint information and proceed with an investigation. The outcome of the investigation will result in the client/complainant being informed of:

  • Confirmation of the receipt of the complaint and the information reviewed.
  • A summary of the next steps and timelines.
  • Notice of the outcome of the investigation.

If the client/complainant is not satisfied with the outcome of the investigation and decision, they may appeal through the Appeals Procedure below.

Appeals

Clients/complainants that are dissatisfied with the resolution of the Complaints Procedure are encouraged to submit an appeal through the Executive Management Contact (contact@carbonsolutionsgroup.com) with the following information:

  • Client/complainant name and contact information.
  • The nature and summary of the appeal.
  • A suggested resolution to the appeal, if applicable.

Executive Management will review the appeal and inform the client/complainant of:

  • Confirmation of the receipt of the appeal and the information reviewed.
  • A summary of the next steps and timelines.
  • Notice of the outcome of the investigation.

The President or their designate will ensure that the decision from the investigation does not result in any discriminatory actions against the appellant.

If the client is not satisfied with the outcome of the investigation and decision they will be directed to voice their concerns with CARB as CSG Verification, LLC’s accreditation body.
